Welcome Jakob David...

10 days ago we welcomed a new little one into our life, Mr. Jakob David, 7 lbs, 2 oz, 19 1/2 inches of cuteness! :) He is a good baby, not that I had many doubts ;) He sleeps well, eats well and doesn't cry too much! A little more than the other two did, but for the most part, he doesn't cry. He is just the most perfect little baby, so smooth and free of blemishes. It felt like the longest pregnancy ever! Mostly thanks to the ungodly heat we had all summer, I was so uncomfortable! It was great to welcome him to our world and we are all happy to have him here. It's kinda tough to know that there will be no more 'baby' time after him and I just want to treasure every second with him! Which will make going back to work very difficult. Unfortunately I cannot stay home full-time (though ultimately I would NOT want to stay home FT anyway, but maybe go PT??)...I'm going to talk to my boss and see what we can arrange, since winter time is so dead anyway...last year I was so bored almost every damn day by 12/1 o'clock...who knows! That way we don't have to spend half of my paycheck on a sitter either, and I do have a great person lined up, but I'm fearful that with winter and her ambitions that it's not going to work out anyway, so I guess we shall see what comes of my asking to be PT. Hayley and Brady are doing well with him. In addition to a new baby around, Hayley has started 1st grade! And is cheerleading (she loves it!) but still has plenty of attitude and self-confidence issues...Brady has mastered potty training! (6 days strong with big boy underwear and only like 1 1/2 accidents! yaaaay!)... I'm planning to post more, but we'll see how that goes! lol...till the next time... ~ADH~
